However, there's 1 girl who enter the Harvard University without good brain only with her passion.

   공부 9단 오기 10단 is a story about one girl's life at Junmin Middle school and Minjok Highschool. Do you wanna know who she is? Her name is Won Hee PARK who graduated Minjok Highschool in 2004.
She had overcome her lack of ability for English. However, she didn't give up because she had the strongest passion and belief. She always tried to be positive and keep her passion. As the result, she got a permission from Harvard University. Why did she tried to keep her passion for a long time and wanna go university in U.S? Well, she had a dream, of course.

   There's 2nd book that continues 공부 9단 오기 10단 but I can't tell you what happened in U.S because it's too complicated and I cannot understand what she's saying in the 2nd book. Won Hee PARK wishes her readers to be curious and get their dreams, even in the most annoying situations. For example, she tried to keep her life style from bothering guys. She writed "Find my way!" on her desk and studied hard to be in 1st place. Of course, she was the top student. She tried her best even more than students from Gangnam which is famous for academies for intelligent students.

   Was she still good at Unversity stuffs or not? If you are curious about her future, then I recommend you to read this book and the 2nd book named "20살 청춘 A+보다 꿈에 미쳐라(For your 20s, don't be mad at A+, be crazy at your dream)" and find out her future for yourself.

The Padlocked Chest(Creative essay-worked with Seo Yeonju.)

   I sneaked into the old abandoned house at the end of the street.
I was surprised to find a small, padlocked treasure chest on a dresser in an upstairs bedroom.
There was a note that said, "Do not open. EVER!"
I also noticed a small key hanging on the wall.
I tried the key in the padlock.
It was a perfect fit.

   After I opened the box, I ventured into the unknown....
When I opened my eyes, I wasn't able to see anything.
Suddenly, one dim light started to come me.
I was so scared, and I was perturbed.
I tried to run away from the light, but I couldn't control my body as I tried to move.
The light was getting closer to me.
I was so terrified, that I fainted.
When I woke up, I was sleeping at a comfortable cave.
I wondered where this place was.
I looked around, and I saw cat staring at me.
The cat had white fur, however, it was dirty.
The cat had one very clear, green eye.
The other eye was gray.
But, I realized that it was blind.
The cat started talk to me.
It said "Why did you open the box, young boy?"
I was frightened because its voice was very calm and husky.
Anyway, I replied "I was just curious about it. Is there any problem?"
The cat smiled and said "Of course there is. You've made a big mistake."
I asked "What do you mean 'The big mistake'?"
It said "Once you came to this cave, you'll not be able to get out."
I was anxious, and the cat smiled at me.
Andthen, it whisperred "Well, there is one way you can get out...."
I was surprised!
And asked "Pardon? You just told me that I wouldn't go out of this place!"
The cat replied "Oh, boy.... Everything has an exception. It's the principle of life!"
"Then what should I do to get out of this place?"
"You have only one way to get out . It'll be hard. Will you do it?"
"I'll do it! I'll do my best!"
"There are 2 steps. First, you have to bring me out from here. Then, you have to raise me until the day you die!"
"Okay, is that all?"
"Yes, it is. From now on, I'll tell you the way."
I thought why this is a hard thing to do. I just followed the act, and eventually I could come out of this box.
However, the cat wasn't there.
I looked around this old abandoned house, and went back to my house.
From that day, the cat always appeared in my dream for some reason.
Finally, the cat said "You brought me out of the cave. I'm very thankful of you. I'm not there where you're living. I'm in your mind. I thought you're not pure, but now I understand you with a pure heart. Someone who has a pure heart only can take me out. I was waiting for a pure and warm heart. Thank you.
I cannot forget you forever. Don't be confused of anything. The answer will always be inside your heart. Unless you lose your pure heart. Always keep this in mind. Bye!"
I woke up and I asked my self  ' What does a pure heart mean?'
Then I realized that having a pure heart means doing a favor, trying one's best to take care of something, don't think about doing bad things, and  being curious about every good thing.
And I tried my best to bring the cat out.
After this dream., I tried to keep my pure heart. This experience of opening the padlocked chest, was the best experience ever, in my life.

The food for the summer 'Naengmyeon'

   Have you ever tried a food called 'Naengmyeon'? It is also called iced noodles and it's from North Korea.
I really love to eat it every summer. So, Naengmyeon is my favorite food. Imagine you are eating Naengmyeon on a hot summer day! Isn't it cool?

   As you know, Naengmyeon is very famous in korear during summer. Several years ago, our ancients used to put meat stock in a jar and put a jar with meat stock in underground. So, it could storage with cold taste.
Andthen, they take a jar out of the ground and eat with noodle. They were impressed with Naengmyeon because  before the Naengmyeon appear, there was no cool noodle. All of noodles were hot. Therefore, it became popular and people want to eat it in the summer.

   Naengmyeon is consisted of noodles, egg, cucumber, ice, and meat stock. It is very cold and delicious.
It tastes sour and savory. It feels cool, fresh, and chewy. Because of its texture and cold taste, people
usually eat Naengmyeon in the summer. After you eat it, your body will be shaken!

   Today, people developed Naengmyeon with many menus. There are spicy Naengmyeon, Naengmyeon
with sashimi, and even Naengmyeon with assorted mixtures. However, i love origin style of Naengmyeon
the best.

   In hot summer day like thesedays, go near store and try Naengmyeon! You will not hesitate at Naengmyeon anymore!

          

Chaging the way you study(Narration Essay)

   Changing the way you study is not easy. It can make you nervous and be uneasy.
I have had experienced changing my study habits. I was so afraid of it but i tried to try which
way was more effective. The thing i realized after the challenge was that challenges are not scary anymore
because i was able to experience it.

   Challenges always make me afraid of the result, and my first challenge was no exception. After i decided
to change my way of studying and openned the book, i was still afraid of result. No one knows the result
and no one can predict the result. Therefore, that truth made me more scary.

   Though it was not easy for me to change the way of studying, my family tried to show that i'll be okay.
Time goes very fast and became a day before the test. However, i was not nervous and i felt like something
that i studied organized well. Andthen, the result became great! I just tried to read textbooks before but now,
i try to read books and make memory trees. I was too impressed myself and i felt like i'm a god.

   Eventhough your result may not be great, it can give you a lesson. So, don't be negative and pessimistic.
It tells you that you are not supposed to do it. Don't be afraid of challenge. I think one challenge can
change your life!
